Flat plan draft for both webpages

 

Create a flat plan draft of both of your webpages for your website (one must be a ‘home page’).  Indicate on them, the colours, images, font choices, hyperlinks and position of elements and text.  Upload them to your blog, write a short entry on why you have used made the choices you have.


HOME: This page is to be assessed
  • Navigation bar at the top of every page is to be the same and read: 'Home', 'Tour Dates' and 'Store'
  • Logo to be an anchor. People using the website will click on the PS logo and it always returns them to the home page.
  • Buttons to be Blue. Purple when someone is on a specific page, and green when someone is hovering over the navigation button. This will create synergy through the use of colour scheme, and the placement of logos. The logos will also be present in the music video in the form of badges that will be part of the mise-en-scene of the video.
  • Border of the webpages will be one of 4 different colours: yellow, green, blue or purple to match the logo.
  • The band's name will be visible on the home page and will be yellow to echo the yellow from the page border and the logo.
  • the audience will also be able to access the bands single on the home page. This will be a marketing strategy to increase the number to 'listens' of the band's new single - "Leave Them Kids Alone!"
  • there will be a button that allows the audience to click "Listen" and it should take the audience to the bottom of the page to listen to the single.
  • Both the Warner Music Group logo and the Gold Dust productions logo will be present on all pages


  • Friends can fill in the email details in order to receive updates about the band activities and upcoming tours 
  • They can also use the email provided to contact the website owners
  • The background must be a dark or neutral tone to allow the logo, text and buttons to all contrast.
  • Buttons linking to social media to be present on all pages

  • Products to be advertised as sustainable and recycled to appeal to the socially conscious audience
  • Banners over products to be labelled with limited edition or deluxe edition
  • Range of products to appeal to members of the audience, with varied/fairly low priced products for a band, to appeal to the young audience who won't have a high disposable income.
